Synergos is working with key stakeholders in Ethiopia’s agricultural sector to increase the food security and incomes of smallholder farmers and their families, bolstering the national economy.

Significant change requires different players – government, businesses, NGOs, cooperatives, and farmers themselves – working together in new ways. Synergos works with the Ethiopian Agricultural Transformation Agency (ATA), Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries, regional Bureaus of Agriculture, and others to strengthen their partnerships, collaboratively identify systemic bottlenecks, and jointly develop solutions that promote food security and improve the lives and livelihoods of small-scale farmers.
