John Tomlinson works in communications at Synergos, a global nonprofit organization that Synergos is a global organization that has pioneered the use of bridging leadership, which builds trust and collaboration to solve complex problems.
Prior to focusing on communications, JT helped administer Synergos programs, including supporting the creation of grantmaking foundations in Africa and Latin America and managing a program of exchanges between nonprofit leaders in the United States and countries in the Global South. He also coordinated policy research and outreach on collaborative approaches to development and on cooperation between foundations and foreign aid agencies.
JT holds an MS in library and information science from the Pratt Institute.
