It is the glue that binds individuals, communities, and institutions together, and forms the basis for effective collaboration, cooperation, and the overall well-being of communities. As we navigate an ever-changing world, cultivating trust remains imperative for the health and prosperity of societies worldwide.

Join us this spring to exchange ideas and new perspectives with fellow philanthropy leaders and changemakers on how we can restore trust, (re)-build bridges across the various divides, and encourage the bold thinking, inner work, and radical action required to address the complex and often competing forces confronting the world.

PROGRAM

The aim of the Annual GPC Members Gathering is to strengthen the bonds and foster meaningful connections within our GPC community by an ongoing weave of inner work, trustful dialogue, and deep listening. We will cover four key areas: environment, democracy, society, and mental health.

TUESDAY, MAY 7 • 09.00-17.30
During the first half of the day, we will explore our members’ efforts to foster belonging and unlock a deeper understanding of happiness and well-being. In the afternoon, following a reflective walk, we will learn how seasons and cyclical patterns can help us protect the ebbs and flows that occur in our leadership and social movement organizations. The day will close with an inspiring fireside chat between Abigail Disney - social activist, filmmaker, philanthropist - and Peggy Dulany, Synergos Chair.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 8 • 09.00-18.00
During the second day, our focus will shift to key themes and trends in philanthropy and civil society. We will hear perspectives on education, regenerative agriculture, and food justice, and we will explore the role philanthropy can play in building strong and inclusive societies. We will also tap into the creative intelligence of the community and build deep trust and support through peer learning circles. The annual Members Gathering will close with a cocktail reception celebrating our time together.

The Gathering will be held at the Stone Barns Center for Food & Agriculture, 630 Bedford Rd, Tarrytown, NY 10591.

Participation is complimentary for GPC Members. Tickets for Synergos guests and friends are $1,500.

All participants are responsible for their own accommodations and travel to/from Stone Barns (see recommended hotels and travel information).
