New York, November 2023 – Synergos proudly announces the appointment of Camille Massey as its new Chief Executive Officer, marking a pivotal moment for the organization’s future and its mission of advancing bridging leadership.

A standout in global change-making, Camille is known as the Founding Executive Director of the Sorensen Center for International Peace and Justice at CUNY Law School. Established in 2014 and inspired by Ted Sorensen's legacy, this center commits to training social justice lawyers and ensuring rights are protected in areas of instability and conflict.
Prior to this, she held a significant role as Vice President of Global Strategy and Programs at the Council on Foreign Relations, molding international policy. She also founded Cue Global, offering strategic policy guidance, and held esteemed positions at the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative and Human Rights First. Her work as a Revson Fellow in the Human Rights Program at The Carter Center further emphasizes her deep-seated dedication to human rights.
Outside of her professional realm, Camille chairs the board of Breakthrough, an organization battling against violence and discrimination targeting women and girls. Her literary passion is evident as she serves on the Board of House of SpeakEasy, a literary nonprofit.
With advisory roles at institutions such as New York University and Syracuse University and memberships at notable organizations, Camille's influence spans wide. She earned her J.D. from CUNY School of Law and holds a B.S. from the Newhouse School at Syracuse University.
