Carolina Seguin

Carolina has joined Synergos as the Executive Assistant to Camille Massey, President & CEO. At 18, Carolina joined Con Edison, New York's electric utility, as a summer intern but quickly proved herself to become Assistant Secretary in the Chairman's Office and then Executive Assistant to the Chief Financial Officer. She obtained her Human Resources Management Bachelors and was promoted to Office Manager of its telecom subsidiary, where she managed the recruitment, benefits, and payroll for over 150 employees but left to become Executive Assistant to Seth Berkley, the former Founder & CEO of the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative. During her time there, she collaborated with Camille and others on various projects and recognized her passion for nonprofit work. Carolina played a key role in managing Seth's extensive travel schedule and speaking engagements i.e, Davos, TED, and the Milken Institute to name a few, while serving as a liaison to their international Board of Directors. She looks forward to leveraging her experience with high-profile clients and contacts across private, public, and government sectors in her role at Synergos.
After Seth transitioned to GAVI, the global Vaccine Alliance, Carolina became Project Coordinator and Special Assistant to the Chief Operating Officer at the NY Academy of Sciences. In this role, she organized weekly senior team meetings and coordinated projects related to initiatives such as the Global STEM Alliance, Alzheimer’s and Dementia Initiative, Sackler Institute for Nutrition Science, and new projects like the Early Childhood Development Initiative and Life Sciences discussion groups. Most recently, she served as Project Coordinator at Russell Reynolds Associates, an executive search firm, where she managed interactions, meetings, and documentation for various internal teams, clients, and candidates—sometimes handling eight or more assignments simultaneously. Carolina takes pride in her work ethic and her ability to oversee multiple projects while keeping stakeholders informed.
In her free time, Carolina enjoys quality moments with her two sons. She thrives in a fast-paced environment, both professionally and personally, and adeptly juggles various responsibilities. A fun fact about Carolina is that she is fluent in Spanish, having spent her senior year of high school in Lima, Peru. She enjoys traveling, participating in group fitness classes, and swimming.
