Bruce McCombie is the Philanthropy Partner for Europe at Synergos. He has over 15 years of experience within the social impact and non-profit space, with a focus on leadership and building cross-sector partnerships. Before joining Synergos, Bruce led Global Partnerships for Unreasonable Group, a certified B Corporation working internationally to scale entrepreneurial solutions to the world’s most pressing social and environmental challenges. Prior to this, he served as Deputy CEO of Pilotlight, a leading UK social enterprise amplifying the impact business and charity can bring to make a better world. From Scotland, Bruce has lived in Canada and Japan, before settling in London.
His voluntary and board roles highlight his commitment to inclusion and improving outcomes for marginalized young people. In 2019, he was appointed as Chair of Advisory Board for LMP Group - three businesses with a collective mission to inspire ambition for young people through education, apprenticeships, and employability. Bruce has also served as Chair of Trustees for a charity creating supported work-placement opportunities for young adults with autism.
