The David Rockefeller Bridging Leadership Award recognizes exemplary individuals who embody bridging leadership – the unique ability to build trust for collective action.
Bridging leadership requires the courage to stand for what’s right. To reach across divides and acknowledge our own vulnerabilities. And it is exactly the type of leadership we need now more than ever.
At Synergos’ flagship annual event, we will gather for an evening of inspiration and exploration at the iconic New York Historical, bringing together global philanthropists, social investors, business and civil society leaders.
Together in this storied space, we will honor our 2025 Award recipients and enjoy a program centered on this year’s theme of courageous leadership. Join us.
Our 2025 honorees are:
- Yael Admi, Co-founder, Women Wage Peace, & Reem Al-Hajajreh, Co-founder, Women of the Sun
- Strive & Tsitsi Masiyiwa, Co-founders of Higherlife Foundation and technology entrepreneurs
Over the course of the evening, guests will have the opportunity to hear directly from our Honorees and other leaders from across our global network – exploring complex and relevant topics such as peace-building, youth development, and social justice.
The Bridging Leadership Award was first presented in 2003 and honors the legacy of David Rockefeller. Past Honorees include Kofi Annan, Michael R. Bloomberg, Bill Clinton, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, Darren Walker, and Nelson Mandela.
“Leadership doesn’t mean one must always be right, and one must always win, and one must always be in the lead. We should remember that a good leader is also a good follower.”
— Kofi Annan at the 2009 Bridging Leadership Award
