The David Rockefeller
Bridging Leadership Award
The David Rockefeller
Bridging Leadership Award
Tuesday, May 9, 2023 in New York City
On May 9, 140 people from around the world came together to celebrate leadership that gets to root causes, strengthens local capacity, and builds trust for collective action.
We shared our own ideas and stories about creating positive change on issues of climate, inclusion, and sustainability.
And we recognized three remarkable people with the 2023 David Rockefeller Bridging Leadership Award:
“We’ve embarked on a journey of re-connection. Because when we think about climate change, one of causes and symptoms is that, as human beings, we become so disconnected from the living world around us.” |
|
“Business can be a significant force for good. And not just because it’s the right thing to do. It’s the right thing also for the business itself. So being inclusive, I think is a critical component to success.” |
|
“Climate justice links human rights, gender, development, and climate...I've felt from the beginning we need to tell the stories of those most affected by climate change. And those stories end up being stories of women.” |
