Alliance aims to look at the challenges that funders face and stimulate new thinking on how they can be met. It includes in-depth features on topics such as social justice philanthropy, governance and accountability, venture philanthropy, community philanthropy and re-granting, always bringing in northern and southern viewpoints. Its audience includes the boards, CEOs and program staff of foundations, large and small, and other funders working internationally, plus the larger national and regional NGOs throughout the world, particularly network and resource organizations. Alliance’s ultimate aim is to increase the flow of resources to civil society organizations and to ensure resources are used as effectively as possible.
