Synergos: University for a Night

Celebrating 20 Years of Building Partnerships

University for a Night is About the Power of Partnership

This special event brings together leaders from around the world to meet one another, explore collaborative opportunities, and share knowledge and ideas about systemic solutions to complex problems.

At the 2007 event, we celebrated Synergosí 20 years of helping to bring people, ideas and resources together to address issues of global poverty, equity and social justice.

And we honored Nelson Mandela and the Gates Family for their extraordinary and inspirational accomplishments in helping to build a more humane, peaceful and promising future for all. They received the David Rockefeller Bridging Leadership Award, which is named for its first recipient.

At this milestone celebration we also launched the Campaign for the Future by crediting all University for a Night contributions to this initiative. This fund will provide critical venture financing to support Synergos as we launch its next decade and new strategic plan. We are resolved to continue to increase our effectiveness, strengthen our core competencies and expand our work to support networks, build inclusive partnerships and share knowledge.
