Lorainne Lopez Lannon

Lorainne Lopez Lannon is the Coordinator of the Global Philanthropists Circle, a network of leading philanthropic families from more than 30 countries committed to becoming more effective social investors. The GPC is a unique opportunity for philanthropists to increase the impact of their giving and fight global poverty and social injustice on a much larger scale.

Lorainne graduated from Boston College with a B.A. in Economics and received her M.S. in Global Affairs from New York University with a focus on international business and development. Her graduate thesis, Strategic Management in Impact Investing: Effectiveness of Achieving Financial and Social Returns in East Africa’s Smallholder Agriculture Production won the Best Thesis Award among 278 students in the program. She also writes for the Impact section of the Huffington Post and was previously a research analyst for Inspiring Capital and the Economist Group.
