Kathleen Freis
Kathleen Freis is Manager of Group Offerings supporting the design and development of workshops, retreats, learning journeys, and convenings for the Global Philanthropists Circle.
Prior to joining Synergos, Kathleen managed programs in formal and non-formal settings including Eklavya School, the Foundation for Democratic Youth, the International Center for Tolerance Education, the Hague Appeal for Peace, and the National Puerto Rican Forum. Using a nonviolence and human rights lens, Kathleen has developed curricula and conducted training courses to promote dialogue, use conflict constructively and encourage action for positive change. Kathleen serves on the International Advisory Committees for the Moremi Initiative for Women's Leadership in Africa and for the Network for Peace Through Dialogue. Kathleen earned a M.A. in International Education Development, specializing in Peace Education, from Teachers College Columbia University and a B.A. in English from Villanova University. She is proficient in Spanish.
